We went to downtown Dallas for our traditional fun on the beggining of December. As always, we campout there a couple hours before the parade started to ensure a good spot. We got up in the wee hours of Saturday morning and geared ourselves up with several layers of clothes, blankets and a stroller full of all sort of snacks and entertaining devices. Two thermus filled with hot chocolate got us the peace of mind that our children (especially mobile Andrew) would be happy until the very last float passed by. And it sure did the trick one more year.
We have a great time and a chance to cheer and scream our heads off everytime a new character appeared in front of us -the hot balloons were the kids' favorites. We highly recomended to anyone who enjoys a family friendly activity fueled with hot cocoa and Christmas' spirited clowns.
